Oblong octavo. [40]pp with color and black & white illustrations by Graham Bull in terrific early 60's style. Matthew can't come in to lunch because he's a jet - a jet with problems, flying upside down and thinking of the safety of the crew and passengers. Matthew's understanding parents manage to make the necessary adaptions for him to land on the ceiling! A wonderfully imaginative story about a very imaginative family. Boards faded along lower edges, bookplate to upper paste-down, else Very Good. Dustjacket chipped with edge tears and some silverfishing.
