4.5"x7" Printed wraps with remnants of blue cord. 47pp with many black & white illustrations from photographs of finished pieces. Teneriffe Lace Brazilian Point is a needle lace and is also sometimes called Taora Lace, Sol lace, sun lace, or Polka Spider Web Lace. It's similar to a South American lace called nanduti (meaning spider web). The company which produced this booklet also manufactured the Proctor Wheel and Square (both pictured) on which to make lace. Instructions are given for some of the completed pieces. Covers stained and lightly dusted, old ink scribble and grease pencil price to upper cover. Small tears to upper cover at spine. Internally clean and bright.
