Henry's famous tale, wherein Mrs. Otter and her son Emmet both try to make a very special Christmas for the other. Light rubbing at corner and spine tips, a few tiny (kitten?) tooth marks to lower corner of upper cover else about Very Good. Contents crisp and clean. The scarce dustjacket worn and torn with some staining along bottom edge of upper panel.

Hoban's descriptions are concise and exciting and his dramatic images convey a real feeling of movement and power. Slight sunning along spine, minor cover soil and a touch of wear to corner tips. A crisp Very Good copy.
