8vo Blue cloth with large pictorial onlay. [32]pp with color and black & white illustrations by Jan Ross. Jackson the cat, with typical feline curiosity, climbs into a test rocket on the base where his master works and is shot into orbit with two mice. Jackson gets the ride of his life and survives, as do the mice. The final image is of a recuperating Jackson in his little cat bed. Written when space travel was brand new and terribly exciting. Very Good in chipped and worn dustjacket.
