8vo Green cloth with large color paste-on. 130pp with six lovely color plates and smaller black & white drawings by Eugenie M. Wireman. Wireman studied with Howard Pyle at Drexel and her color illustrations are somewhat reminiscent of Jessie Willcox Smith. The story concerns the beautiful Parisian doll Roxana Rosebud and her little mother Jessie. Jessie, carrying Roxana, ventures into a place where she's not supposed to go and the fairies must come and rescue them. A Fine bright copy.
