10"x11-1/2" Pictorial boards. [34]pp with marvelous color illustrations on every page by Bagram Ibatoulline and with a line or two of Booth's poem at the bottom of each image. "Crossing" appeared in Booth's first book, "Letter From a Distant Land," published in 1953. The poet's childhood provided his inspiration for "Crossing," as he lived in White River Junction, Vermont, where a great many trains came down the river valley. Fine. Dustjacket band lightly creased.
