8vo. Cloth-backed cream boards. 225pp. Shortly after two retrospectives of her work, Anne Truitt began a journal: "The only limitation I set was to let the artist speak." Poet Jean Burden's copy with her signature and notation to ffep and with her dog-ears and pencil underlining. Laid in is a letter to Ms. Burden from the author thanking her for her letter about Daybook: "I am touched that you gave it real attention, and deeply appreciative of your understanding." Some browning to end papers from newsprint clipping. Spine slightly cocked. Jacket lightly soiled, upper panel water stained with small scuff, price-clipped. About Good.
