Little played tackle at U of Pennsylvania and went on to play with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He was head coach at Georgetown U from 1924 to 1929 and at Columbia U from 1930 to 1956. Little was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1960. Neat inscription dated 1935 to upper pastedown. Covers with some rubbing at edges, a little wear at corner and spine tips. A few leaves with spotting in margins. Good.

Originally published in 1847, this title was very popular in the normal school movement and became the most widely-used textbook in American teacher education. Name and date (Dec. '91) in a delicate hand to ffep. Some rubbing and a bit of wear, primarily at spine and corner tips. Some foxing to prelims and occasionally to text margins else a clean, tight copy with spine gilt still quite bright. Good.
